Taiwanese-American conductor Mei-Ann Chen debuts in a varied program. Tan Dun’s concerto draws on themes from his Oscarwinning film score “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon,” and the concert concludes with Dvořák’s sunny 8th Symphony.
