A concert of hope and peace featuring the theme from Schindler’s List by John Williams played by the haunting sound of the Chinese erhu, and the ironic and playful Symphony No. 9 by Dimitri Shostakovich, which was commissioned in 1945 by Joseph Stalin to commemorate the end of World War II.
